Thomas de Protani

If one day you have a chance to visit Thomas's gallery in Chiswick, you will be amazed by the variety of styles that this exceptional artist could use. A talented portraitist, he can also create magical worlds like Dali, or beautiful natures mortes and landscapes, like Van Gogh. He is both an excellent graphist and a skilled colorist. And he is also a very nice person !

Autoportrait

Born in Italy, he was educated in a college near Arpino, and moved to Rome at the age of 12. The cultural heritage of the capital had a strong influence on the young Thomas, and decided on his futur carrier as a painter.

But it is in London that his vocation would eventually florish. At the famous Holland Park College he could improve his already sophisticated artistic skills and became a member of an elite club, Ealing Broadway.

Some of his paintings have been made during travels abroad, mainly India and Africa. "The Famine" for instance was directly inspired by his experience acquired with these trips.
